The following terms and conditions govern all use of all content, services and products available at www.sourcefabric.com and www.sourcefabric.org.
Please read them carefully before accessing or using the website and services. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services.
Sourcefabric Services, include but are not restricted to, Airtime Pro, Newscoop Pro and other customisable services and products offered through our websites or staff.
Sourcefabric offers a variety of paid services for publishing, managing and broadcasting content. The service is designed to give you as much control and ownership over your content as possible and we encourage you to express yourself freely.
However, you must be responsible in what you publish. In particular, make sure that none of the prohibited items listed below appear on your site or get linked to from your site (things like spam, viruses, or hate content). If you are a radio station you may not broadcast any copyrighted material without first obtaining the correct licences for your country or region. For more information, read our Airtime manual.
You are entirely responsible for the content of that online publication or internet radio station.You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and online publication or internet radio station.
Sourcefabric has the right to refuse or remove any content that, in Sourcefabric’s opinion, violates any Sourcefabric policy or is in any way harmful or objectionable.
By signing up for a Sourcefabric Services account you agree to pay Sourcefabric the fees agreed upon in exchange for the services agreed upon. These can be one-off payments, set-up payments, or monthly payments depending on the services agreed upon. see below for more details.
Many of our Services offer support packages with a variety of support options between the business hours of 1000 and 1800 EST.

Website Visitors
Like most website operators, Sourcefabric collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Sourcefabric’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Sourcefabric’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Sourcefabric may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
Sourcefabric also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on hosted online publications. Sourcefabric only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the online publication where the comment was left.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to Sourcefabric’s websites choose to interact with Sourcefabric in ways that require Sourcefabric to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Sourcefabric gathers depends on the nature of the interaction.
For example, we ask visitors who sign up for online publication hosting to provide a username and email address. Those who engage in transactions with Sourcefabric are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. Aggregated Statistics
Sourcefabric may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, Sourcefabric may monitor the most popular online publications it hosts. Sourcefabric may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Sourcefabric does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
Sourcefabric discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Sourcefabric’s behalf or to provide services available at Sourcefabric’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country.

In case of disclosure of your personal information to any third party from the above mentioned list, Sourcefabric binds itself to keep the Law on protection of personal information and to ensure that there are valid such contract provisions in relation to this third party, which will ensure that this third party will not use your information for any other purpose than stated by Sourcefabric and in accordance with goals stated by the Privacy Policy and that this third party adopted proper security measures for protection of your personal information against unlawful use and against coincidental loss and destruction.
If you are a registered user of a Sourcefabric website and have supplied your email address, Sourcefabric may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with Sourcefabric and our products. We primarily use our various websites and blogs to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. Contact the publisher of the online publication directly. Go to the article in question and leave a comment with your complaint to see if the matter can be resolved directly between you and the publisher.
Send your complaint to infosec@sourcefabric.org. If the issue cannot be resolved directly with the publisher, send us your complaint as plain text email without attachments (email attachments are discarded) and include the following (or it will be deemed invalid):
If an InfoSec notice is valid, we are required by law to respond to it by disabling access to the allegedly infringing content. If you are a Sourcefabric hosting user and access to portions of your publication have been disabled for this reason, we will notify you. You then have the option to send us a counter-notice stating why your content does not infringe copyrights and asking for access to be reinstated.
