One click is all it takes. It's pretty self explanatory from there, but if you want a detailed guide, read on!
To make access to our community tools easy and safe, Sourcefabric uses Single sign-on (SSO). This allows you to create one account with which to access the forums, mailing lists, bug-tracking, developer tools and much more.
a) Signing up.
1. Go to login.sourcefabric.org
2. If you've never set up a Sourcefabric account, you have two options.
a) Sign-up with an email account (click "Not a member?")
b) Use a secure sign-in login from another network, such as Twitter, Google, OpenID, Facebook and Yahoo (click the appropriate icon).
On-screen instructions will guide you through the process.
b) Signing in.
1. Go to login.sourcefabric.org
2. Enter either your login and password OR click the external service icon (e.g. Twitter).
Note: if your browser is already logged into an existing Twitter account (for example), login.sourcefabric.org will use that Twitter account to login automatically. If that's not the Twitter account you signed up with, please log out of Twitter and try again. You'll be redirected to a Twitter login page and can login from there. The same applies for Facebook, Open ID etc.
c) Assigning new services.
You can assign logins from other networks, such as Twitter, Google, OpenID, Facebook and Yahoo, to an already existing Sourcefabric account.
Step 1. Login at login.sourcefabric.org
Step 2. Go to 'Your profile'
Step 3. Select your prefered service from the pulldown at the bottom of the page beneath External authentification services.
(See above for a possible issue if your browser is already logged into an existing network.)
You'll be presented with all the tools available for you to use on the home page.
